FAQ for the 2024 Festival
Theresa and Finn have got the answers--come by the Festival Hub at Rabble Rouser!

We've had a lot of questions, here are a few of the most frequent ones we encounter. As always, if you cannot find your answer here, stop by the Festival Hub inside Rabble Rouser and ask one of our volunteers. Thanks!

TICKETING

  • All tickets are available online at www.gmffestival.org 
  • Tickets can also be purchased in-person during the festival at Rabble-Rouser from 9am - 6pm or at the Capitol Theater (half hour before first show until last show).
  • Proof of tickets can be printed or shown over email on your smartphone
  • Unless the screening is canceled, there will not be any refunds for festival tickets. For other issues, please see a festival staff member.

Ticket Terms

  • We ask that guests arrive at the venue and be in line at least 10 minutes. prior to the movie start time. Seating will begin no later than 5  minutes before the screening time .
  • You must show your ticket or proof of purchase for admission. 
  • All seating is general admission, except for clearly marked reserve seating.
  • Failure to arrive 5 minutes before screening time (when seating begins) may result in forfeiture of your seat. A person on the waitlist may be assigned your seat if you arrive late. 

Waitlist

  • Waitlists will be managed at the door on the day of the show, no more than 30 minutes before the start time.
  • There are no waitlists prior to the day of the show.
  • Waitlist is not a guarantee of a seat. 
  • If you are on the waitlist, please be prepared to pay at the door.

ACCESSIBILITY

  • There is wheelchair space available in all of the theaters. Please reach out ahead of time for ramp access to the Savoy Theater. 
  • City Hall & Crumb Factory are accessible by stairs only.

CODE OF CONDUCT

  • Our spaces and events encourage the open exchange of ideas anchored in mutual respect.
  • We are committed to freedom of creative expression while simultaneously lifting up anti-racist, anti-sexist, and anti-discriminatory practices at all GMFF events and activities.  
  • We ask that everyone in the GMFF community—filmmakers, audiences, volunteers, press, industry, staff, and beyond—does their part in creating an environment that is welcoming and safe to everyone.
  • If you have any concerns, please direct them to a festival staffer (pink badges)
  • GMFF reserves the right to deny services to anyone whom they deem is not committed to the above.

FESTIVAL HUB

  • Rabble-Rouser, our festival hub, is conveniently located between the Capitol Theater and the Savoy Theater, will be open from 9am - 6pm on festival days
  • Here you can find ticket sales, assistance for any festival questions/concerns, a space to hangout, and festival merch!

PHOTOGRAPHY / MEDIA COVERAGE

  • We love capturing memories at the Green Mountain Film Festival! By attending, you agree to let us use any photos/videos taken for any of our publications and media materials.
  • To ensure the privacy of festival goers, we'll never identify individuals without permission. If you prefer not to be photographed, just let us know. If you have any concerns, please contact us: director@gmffestival.org. 
  • We ask that any person or organization not affiliated with GMFF to not use, copy, alter or modify GMFF photographs, graphics, videography or other, similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized designee from GMFF.
